💨 Abstract
Over half of Brits experience loneliness at least monthly, often without sharing it due to feelings of embarrassment or a lack of support. Instead, many distract themselves through entertainment. A study by audio brand Pure and Marmalade Trust found that loneliness affects various demographics, with Gen Zs reporting the highest levels. Average responses to loneliness include listening to the radio for comfort, especially in lonely situations. Pure is donating radios to support individuals experiencing loneliness.
