💨 Abstract
The Met Office predicts unsettled weather for the Spring Bank Holiday, ending a prolonged dry spell. Expect scattered showers, potential thunderstorms, and isolated frost, particularly in northwest England and southwest Scotland. While there will be some sunshine, especially in the west, rain and strong winds are likely to spread across the UK over the weekend. Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday will see a mix of sunshine and showers. The change comes as high pressure gives way to Atlantic weather systems.
