💨 Abstract
A young boy was tricked into sending intimate images, leading to his suicide due to blackmail by a scammer. These Nigerian gangs, operating in 'call centers' across West Africa, target young men and boys through social media and dating apps, building trust to extort money. The tactics, known as sextortion, involve blackmailing victims with threats of exposing their images.
