💨 Abstract
An Australian woman, Corbie Jean Walpole, pleaded guilty to setting her friend, Jake Loader, on fire during a party. Walpole claimed she felt overwhelmed by Loader's antagonistic behavior and a misogynistic comment. Loader suffered burns to 55% of his body and underwent multiple operations. Walpole, who admitted to being drunk and high on cocaine, regretted her actions, stating she felt "horrible, remorseful, guilty."
