💨 Abstract
Two sisters, Debbie Blaxhall and Tracey Stevenson, finally tracked down the owners of a watch given to their grandfather during World War II. The watch, left by a soldier named Arnold Sharrocks, had been kept safe for decades. Using Ancestry.com, they found Arnold's daughter, Janet Hunt, and returned the watch. They met at a VE Day celebration, discovering they lived nearby and shared a familial name.
