💨 Abstract
Laura Whitehurst, a former California teacher, was convicted in 2013 for sexually abusing three students and giving birth to one of their children. A fourth former student has accused her of similar abuse in 2007-2008. Lawsuits claim that school officials were aware of the abuse but failed to report or stop it, contributing to a pattern of misconduct.
