💨 Abstract
A British tourist, Adam Smith, spent five days in Kyiv, Ukraine, during the ongoing war, staying in a £7-a-night hostel. Despite air raid sirens and the need to take shelter in the subway, he found the experience exciting and plans to return. Smith detailed the atmosphere in the shelter and the fatigue locals feel from constant alerts. His trip cost £250, including a war-themed tour.
