💨 Abstract

A body believed to be Yajaira Castro Mendez, 46, was found in the New Forest, Hampshire. The woman had been missing since May 31 and was last seen leaving her Ilford home. Juan Toledo, 51, who knew Mendez, has been charged with her murder. The investigation has been handed over to the Met's Specialist Crime Command. Police urge anyone with information to come forward. Formal identification and post-mortem exams are pending.
