💨 Abstract
England is considering bidding for the World Cup after a seven-decade absence, following encouragement from FIFA vice-president Victor Montagliani. England last hosted in 1966 and hasn't bid since the controversial 2010 vote. Future World Cups are planned for 2026, 2030, 2034, and 2035, with the UK hosting the Women's World Cup in 2035.
