💨 Abstract
Cyprus plans to join the Schengen Area in 2026, impacting British holidaymakers. Currently, visits to Cyprus do not count towards the 90-day limit in the Schengen Area. After joining, British travelers will have to adhere to this 90-day rule within 180 days. This move will benefit Cypriots by easing travel and trade within the zone.
