💨 Abstract
As a result of updated European travel rules, British travelers will receive less compensation for flight delays. The new regulations increase the delay time for compensation eligibility to four hours for short-haul flights and six hours for longer ones. Compensation amounts have also decreased—from €400 to €300 for delays over four hours, and from €600 to €500 for delays over six hours on longer flights.
