💨 Abstract
Fern Britton, 67, decided to lose five stone after realizing she needed to improve her health and lifestyle. She quit drinking, smoking and cut sugar significantly, leading to natural weight loss. She also started the Couch to 5K program. The change was partially triggered by a shoulder replacement and a desire to stay healthy for her children. Her transformation comes after a 20-year marriage ended.
