💨 Abstract
At Edison Academy in Alexandria, Virginia, students in cyber and electrical classes, led by teacher Aaron King, built an arcade to help peers relax before end-of-year testing. The Edison Arcade featured classic games, modern consoles, and '80s music. Over 30 days, it averaged 20 students per period. Students gained customer service and technical skills. King secured grants totaling $5,000 to fund the project. The arcade was popular among both students and teachers.
