💨 Abstract

Alexandria's Pride celebrations have grown significantly since its inception eight years ago. Initially a small event at Charles Beatley Library, it now attracts thousands, featuring over 90 vendors, entertainment, and health services. The gaiety is palpable in Market Square, celebrating diversity and inclusion. The Alexandria LGBTQ+ task force initiated the event to foster inclusive environments and improve access to services for the LGBTQ+ community.
