💨 Abstract
A 21-year-old man, Ezequiel Diaz-Mondragon, was convicted of first-degree murder for fatally shooting an 18-year-old, Anthony Benitez, in Annandale, Virginia, in 2021. Diaz-Mondragon, along with two others, targeted a rival group and shot Benitez in the back of the neck. He faces life in prison, with sentencing scheduled for November 21.
