💨 Abstract
An injured adult female sea turtle named Pennywise, weighing 302 pounds, was returned to the ocean after being rehabilitated for several months at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center. The turtle was injured by a boat strike but recovered and was found to be carrying eggs. The Center urged boaters to be cautious during nesting season, which runs from March 1 to Oct. 31, to protect endangered sea turtles.
