đź’¨ Abstract
Scientists in Australia discovered the oldest known reptile-like fossil footprints, dating back around 350 million years. This finding indicates that early creatures evolved to live on land much faster than previously believed. The footprints, found in sandstone near Melbourne, show reptile-like feet with long toes and hooked claws, suggesting the animal, about 2.5 feet long, lived solely on land.
