💨 Abstract
The U.S. Army's 250th anniversary parade and festival in Washington, D.C., will have extensive security measures, including antiscale fencing, concrete barriers, and numerous checkpoints. Authorities expect hundreds of thousands of attendees and are advising visitors to plan ahead due to road closures and metro station restrictions. While there are no known credible threats, the Secret Service is aware of nine protest groups and will ensure First Amendment protections while addressing any violence or law-breaking.
