Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Wisin, though a U.S. citizen, identifies strongly with the Hispanic community and advocates for immigrants. In a recent interview, he expressed sorrow over the harsh environment faced by immigrants in the U.S., noting the risk of detention and deportation. Wisin lamented the upheaval faced by families who have spent years building lives in the U.S., only to be suddenly forced to return to their home countries.
