💨 Abstract
Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares concluded an investigation into Fairfax County Public Schools, finding evidence of racial discrimination in the admissions policy changes at Thomas Jefferson High School. The policy, which aimed to alter the school's racial makeup, resulted in a decline in Asian American student enrollment. Miyares cited emails and texts from school board members acknowledging the policy's discriminatory impact. He plans to refer the findings to federal authorities for further action under civil rights laws.
