💨 Abstract
A residential treatment school for girls in North Carolina, Asheville Academy, has closed following the suicides of two students and a state investigation. The school, which had 27 students, was ordered to stop admitting new students due to concerns about protecting and supervising students properly. The owner of Asheville Academy had another school in North Carolina, a boys' therapy program, closed last year after a student's death.
