💨 Abstract
The Trump administration is releasing $6 billion in grants to schools for adult literacy, English language instruction, and other programs. The funds were previously withheld for review to align with the White House’s priorities. After pressure from Republican senators, the department released $1.3 billion for after-school programs and has now completed its review for the remaining funds, which will be sent to states next week.
