💨 Abstract
UCLA settled for $6 million with Jewish students and a professor after pro-Palestinian protesters blocked their access to campus areas in 2024. The settlement follows a judge's order for UCLA to protect Jewish students, after finding the university indifferent to their safety. The DOJ also concluded UCLA violated civil rights laws. UCLA will implement measures to ensure no exclusion of Jewish individuals on campus. The settlement also funds legal fees and Jewish organizations.
