💨 Abstract
Cypriot Maronite Arabic, spoken by only 900 people worldwide, is endangered but efforts are underway to save it. The Cypriot government and the European Union are aiding the Maronite community in Cyprus to preserve this spoken dialect of Syrian Arabic.
