💨 Abstract

The Miami Marlins placed catcher Rob Brantly on the 60-day injured list due to a right lat strain. Before the injury, Brantly had hit .429 in three games. Meanwhile, the Marlins called up right-handed pitcher Janson Junk from Triple-A Jacksonville, who has a 2.73 ERA this season. They also optioned Lake Bachar, who had a 4.73 ERA, back to Triple-A.
