💨 Abstract
Germany's economy grew by 0.4% in the first quarter of 2025, double the initial estimate, driven by strong exports and manufacturing. This growth, the strongest since Q3 2022, was fueled by businesses anticipating U.S. tariffs. However, the economy has struggled in recent years, with contractions in 2023 and 2024.
