Australian teenager Gout, 17, set a new national 200m record at the Golden Spike meet in Ostrava, finishing in 20.02 seconds. Born to South Sudanese immigrants, Gout has previously run sub-20 times but they were wind-assisted. He is being compared to Usain Bolt and will compete more in Europe before the Tokyo world championships.
