💨 Abstract
Dutch artist Theo Jansen's iconic "strandbeesten" (beach animals) have found their final resting place in an exhibition called "The Strandbeesten Mortuary" in Delft. Jansen’s creations, initially made from plastic pipes, evolved over time incorporating various materials. The exhibition showcases the evolutionary history of Jansen’s wind-powered sculptures, which he annually declares "dead" after experimenting with them each summer.
