Two football coaches at Fairfax County High School were placed on administrative leave due to allegations of recruitment violations during the 2024-2025 school year. The investigation comes shortly before the season's kickoff on August 28. Fairfax County Public Schools is collaborating with independent investigators to handle this matter. Previously, Haymarket Secondary School faced similar allegations, prompting FCPS to revamp the transfer vetting process for athletic eligibility, reflecting changes in the upcoming school year.
