💨 Abstract
On the Fourth of July weekend in 2025, many services in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia will have modified schedules or closures. Metro will offer fare-free trips after 5 p.m. on Friday, with expanded hours. Government buildings, libraries, and DMV locations will be closed. Museums, outdoor pools, and parks may have altered hours. Trash and recycling collection will shift to the following day in most counties.
