On May 21, 2025, two Israeli embassy staff members were shot and killed near a Jewish museum in Washington, D.C. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed the deaths, and Attorney General Pam Bondi and former judge Jeanine Pirro were present at the scene.
