💨 Abstract
The U.S. reportedly destroyed two Iranian nuclear facilities using specialized "bunker-buster" bombs. These bombs, called GBU-57 A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrators, took over 15 years to develop, designed to penetrate deep underground facilities. The Pentagon used 14 of these bombs, launched from seven B-2 stealth bombers, to target the Fordo and Natanz sites.
