💨 Abstract
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has removed a list of "sanctuary jurisdictions" from its website after criticism. The list, which grew pointed at communities deemed uncooperative with federal immigration enforcement, wrongfully classified certain cities, triggering backlash and confusion among local officials. The DHS is continuing to review the designations.
