💨 Abstract
The Supreme Court has permitted the Trump administration to lay off around 1,400 Education Department employees. Separately, U.S. Thomas Massie, a Kentucky Republican, has raised over $1.7 million for his 2026 re-election campaign. Massie, known for his opposition to some of Trump's policies, faces a super PAC formed to challenge him. Despite this, Massie's strong fundraising could help his re-election effort.
