💨 Abstract
Republican candidate Jonathan White lost decisively to Aisha Braveboy in the special general election for Prince George's County executive on Tuesday, obtaining a mere 11% of the vote. With her victory, Braveboy will complete the remaining two years of Angela Alsobrooks's term. She plans to concentrate on improving the educational system, fighting truancy, and strengthening the county's local companies to broaden the tax base.
