💨 Abstract

An 80-year-old man, Vivian Stewart Nation, was charged with first-degree murder after allegedly killing his 78-year-old wife, Beverly Rose Fletcher, in their Leisure World apartment in Montgomery County, Maryland. The altercation, sparked by a disagreement about a medical issue, resulted in Nation pushing his wife to the floor and pressing a hammer on her throat. Police found a hammer, knife, and screwdriver with bloodstains at the scene.
