💨 Abstract
Liverpool has retired the No. 20 shirt, previously worn by Diogo Jota, who died in a car crash last week. The 28-year-old Portuguese player and his brother Andre Silva were killed near Zamora, Spain. Liverpool honored Jota by retiring his number across all club levels. Jota had a successful season, helping Liverpool win the Premier League and contributing to Portugal's UEFA Nations League victory. He scored 65 goals in 182 games for Liverpool.
