💨 Abstract
A World War II bomber, "Heaven Can Wait," crashed in 1944 after being hit by enemy fire. Initially deemed non-recoverable, a recent recovery mission by family members and Navy divers brought the remains of four crew members to the surface. The operation involved descending 200 feet to retrieve the remains, which are now returning to their hometowns.
