💨 Abstract

An escape from a New Orleans jail nearly two weeks ago resulted in ten inmates fleeing. One, Lenton Vanburen Jr., was captured in Baton Rouge, and five individuals, including his father, were arrested for aiding him. Two more escapees were caught in Texas, but Derrick Groves and Antoine Massey remain at large. Authorities blame security lapses and deteriorating conditions in the jail for the escape.
