đź’¨ Abstract
The Supreme Court has allowed the U.S. administration to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for about 350,000 Venezuelan immigrants, potentially leading to their deportation. TPS allows immigrants from unsafe countries to stay and work in the U.S. temporarily. The Biden administration expanded TPS to include over a dozen countries, but critics argue that renewals have been automatic, regardless of home country conditions.
