💨 Abstract
Jurors in Harvey Weinstein's sex crimes retrial began deliberations on June 5, 2025, after two days of closing arguments. Prosecutor Nicole Blumberg argued that Weinstein used his influence to sexually assault women, while defense lawyer Arthur Aidala claimed the encounters were consensual. Weinstein, 73, is accused of raping a woman in 2013 and forcing oral sex on two others in 2006.
