💨 Abstract
In the Gaza Strip, Palestinians began Eid al-Adha amidst severe hardship and destruction. With much of Gaza in ruins and food supplies scarce, families struggled to celebrate the holiday. The war with Israel, which started in October 2023, has led to extensive devastation, with over 54,000 Palestinians killed and 90% of the population displaced. Aid distribution is hindered by Israeli restrictions and violence, with famine looming by September.
