💨 Abstract
Despite a national priest shortage, the Diocese of Arlington, Va., ordained 12 new priests. Four of them shared their journeys: Ricky Malebranche, a former high school counselor and son of Haitian immigrants, felt called to the priesthood after a long career. Mike Sampson, originally Protestant, converted to Catholicism and will serve as a Navy chaplain. Alfredo Tuesta, born in Peru, discovered his calling after earning a doctorate in mechanical engineering.
