💨 Abstract
The U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has reconstituted the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and its upcoming meeting may not address a vote on the COVID-19 vaccination. The new 8-member panel includes several anti-vaccine advocates and has removed hot-button COVID-19 topics to address other medications, including thimerosal. Critics have accused Kennedy of using an agenda to scare people from taking vaccines while vaccine experts say he's promoting misinformation.
