A U.S. Army soldier based in Hawaii, Pfc. Dewayne Johnson II, was sentenced to 23 years in prison for killing his pregnant wife, Mischa Johnson, and attempting to cover up the crime. Johnson pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and obstruction charges. He admitted to killing his wife with a machete during an argument and dismembering her body. The body has not been found.
