Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Wander Franco is set to face trial in the Dominican Republic on charges of sexual abuse of a minor, sexual and commercial exploitation, and human trafficking. The 24-year-old was accused of having a relationship with a 14-year-old girl in 2023 and paying her mother $17,000. Franco's trial, delayed until June, could last up to eight months.
