💨 Abstract
The Wisconsin Supreme Court declined to hear a Democratic challenge over the state's congressional district boundaries before the 2026 elections. This refusal allows the current maps, which Republicans currently dominate to be used. Republicans hold six out of eight House seats, with only two seats in western and southeastern Wisconsin considered competitive. These maps made by Democratic Governor Tony Evers were approved in 2022. The latest ruling does not provide reasoning for the decision.
