💨 Abstract
A 21-year-old man from Brooklyn, Jakhi McCray, was charged with arson after setting fire to 11 NYPD vehicles in the Bushwick neighborhood on June 12. CCTV footage captured McCray scaling a fence prior to the incident; firefighters found evidence linking McCray to the crime. McCray, previously arrested at pro-Palestinian protests, pleaded not guilty.
