💨 Abstract
Robert Roberson, a Texas man, is set for execution on October 16, 2025, for the 2002 murder of his 2-year-old daughter, Nikki Curtis, in what was diagnosed as shaken baby syndrome. Prosecutors claim he violently shook his daughter, causing severe head trauma. However, Roberson's lawyers and some medical experts argue that she died from pneumonia complications.
