Billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman recently commented on the rising levels of cash in money market funds, which have reached a record $7.4 trillion. Acknowledging that the market is flush with “dry powder,” he mentioned that part of this cash can flow into stocks or other risk assets especially if interest rates decrease.
